Description: Black and white photo pages rescued from a damaged November, 1946 issue of CORONET magazine. This issue marked the tenth anniversary of Coronet magazine. Titled "A World in Action," these photos cover six double-sided pages for a total of twelve pages of unique photos. Opening page info: With these outstanding photographs, Coronet presents a new kind of pictorial review of the last ten years. Among the headline news-pictures produced from 1936 - 1946, there were thousands of arresting photographs which captured unique moments in the lives of men. Specially selected by the editors of Coronet, the pictures on these pages take you behind the scenes of an earth-shaking decade. They include some of the greatest news photographs of our time. ******* Shown on these pages are a total of 27 photos. Some shocking, enlightening, eye-opening looks into a decade of war and changes throughout the world. Though small in size, these photos are still very exciting and pertinent to our history and the events that continue to shape our world even today...Short captions explain all the photos. Pages were trimmed along bound edge. They are becoming brittle with the age. Coronet was a great little magazine, but one of their strong points was not the paper that they used. Of course, this was also effected by the years of war and the cut-backs that had to take place to supply our war effort. Pages measure 5 1/8" x 7 1/2". I will place them in a plastic sleeve and add a piece of white foam board to protect during USPS First Class mailing in bubble envelope. I'll mail the same day, or next day after PayPal payment is received. Track Page Views With Auctiva's FREE Counter
