Description: This item is a guaranteed genuine PROHIBITION one pint bottle of Indian Hill Whiskey (one pint is embossed on the bottle's shoulder). The back label shows it was manufactured in Spring of 1916 and front neck label that is was bottled in1921, making this a well-documented early example of a genuine prohibition whiskey bottle. The c]Caution Notice on back of bottle is 95% complete with all the usual notifications intact. The front label is 99.5% complete and features an Indian’s head in war bonnet with three teepees in the background. This is not an image you would ever find today especially with cultural resonances to "fire water'" and therefore potency of Indian Hill. All good news, but for me the most unusual and beautiful part of this bottle that makes it unique is that it has a complete cork encased at its top by wood. I tried to show this in photos 6 and 7 but didn't do it justice; in all the years I've been collecting prohibition stuff I have never seen this combination of a stopper made of cork with a wood top. We combine shipping so check my store for more goodies from the 1900s to 1950s. Add this a wonderful prohibition cocktail shaker to your collection today!
