This hood is a direct replacement to your stock hood and requires no modification to install. All our hoods feature a fully finished factory style underside. Unlike fiberglass, our steel hoods will not flex or warp over time. Regardless of where you are located our steel hoods will stay looking great for years to come. Hoods arrive in a black "e" coat finish. This is not a primer. Its a sealer put on the hood to protect against rush. The hood will require basic prep work (test fit, sand, prime) before paint can be installed. We strongly recommend having a qualified auto body shop paint and install this hood.
