Description: You're looking at a One-Of-A-Kind Heavy Leather Biker Jacket in the classic, timeless Marlon Brando in "The Wild One" style. It was painstakingly Hand-Painted by a famous artist whose artwork hangs in the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum - a longtime friend of mine named Ken Featherstone. The back features a photo-realistic lateral view of a Bengal Tiger head, bracketed by "Harley" and "Davidson" spelled out in rivets. The left shoulder has a photo-realistic painting based on the California Highway Patrol (CHPS) "Winged Wheel" Logo. An embroidered "winged" Harley Davidson patch has been added inside. I would rate the condition as "Near Mint" - if you want to "pick a couple nits", there are some small indentations on the two leather shoulder epulets; if I hadn't mentioned them you wouldn't even notice them. Also, the hanging loop on the inside collar has come loose on one side; any seamstress could reattach it for under $10.00. The artwork was painted using very special, non-cracking, non-peeling paint - the paintwork is about 36 years old and has remained PERFECT! The collar features a snap-on/removable moulton attachment for extra warmth when needed. This is a HEAVY jacket - I'd estimate it to weigh ~7-8 pounds. Measurements are as follows: Sleeve Length - measured from inside armpit to end of sleeve=20"; Shoulder-To-Shoulder=18"; Chest - measured across the front from armpit to armpit=23"; Length - measured from armpit to bottom of jacket=15 1/2". For sizing comparison, I'm 6'2" and 200 pounds with fairly long arms - it fits me perfectly. The bi-swing back allows the sleeves to stay in place while riding. You can live to be 152 years old, go to Sturgis & Daytona every year for those 152 years, and NEVER see another jacket like this one!
