Description: Gas Dryer Parts from Kenmore Dryer Model # 796.70272900 including 2 Dryer Control Boards and 2 sets of the gas valve assembly (one with LP nozzle and one with natural gas nozzle). Roughly $400 if you were to buy those refurbished on ebay! Yes, you read that right, 2 Control Boards (Part Number EBR33640914) and 2 sets of gas valves (Part Number CGV22CK). Why 2? Glad you asked. I was trying to fix my dryer that stopped drying. Everything worked on it, started, tumbled, blew air, all good, except the GAS wouldn't start up. Why? Well, read on-line, found all kinds of trouble shooting steps. One was that the gas valves might be bad. So, replaced it. Made no difference to swap them out! Another one was if the various heat sensor fuses were measuring OK, then could be that the control board was bad. So I got a refurbished one. Guess what - it still didn't work. Gahhhh! Everything lights up and runs fine. No error codes. Just the gas wouldn't flow. Even the ignitor glowed nicely and cut off like it was supposed to. Then, searching further, I found the actual trouble shooting guide. It said if I didn't have >= 90 volts at valves when dryer was on/run, then it was the main thermistor. OK, checked the thermistor. It measures as per the specs say it should. Next trouble shooting step - oh, wait, that is the ONLY potential failure that the darn manual said it could be. So, well, I gave UP. Got a new used dryer, converted natural gas to LP, and all is well in the world - except that I have all of these parts to a dryer that SHOULD be working. So, take a look at the pictures. That is what you will get. One value is new, one control board is recertified. Several other used parts. I replaced all the rollers just recently, so included a couple of those as well. If you need some spare parts for your drying, my bad luck is your good fortune. Offering all the parts together as a single kit. Hopefully, you can put them into a dryer that doesn't have some unknown and non-troubleshootable condition. NOTE: I removed the circuit boards from the front control panel to allow it all to fit in the priority mail box. So, you won't get the plastic piece, but you will get the circuit boards and cables that were connected to it. Cheers!
