Description: 63 Inch Handcrafted Wood Walking Stick Ergonomic Grip. The handles are hard wood or 2 x 4 stock. The sticks are from tree limbs. The joint that connects the grip and the stick portion are joined by a 3/8-inch dowel with 6 inches of the dowel in each piece for added strength. They are stained and finished with five coats of polyurethane. The walking sticks are ergonomically designed so you stand up straight. This can prevent low back pain from not standing up straight. The ball on the hand grip is used for going down steps or going down slopes. To determine the correct height of your walking stick simply hold your forearm out horizontal and then raise it about 20 - 25 degrees which is approximately 5 - 7 inches. Then, measure the distance from the bottom of your hand to the ground and that is the correct height needed for the walking stick. If you like the looks of one of the taller walking sticks better we can cut it down to size at no additional cost. Height: to handle is 56 inches and total height is 63 inches.
