Here are 6 of those cool mid-century era insulated party/picnic glasses. Ea;ch glass holds 12 ounces of your favorite liquid concoction. You'll receive 2 of each of the pretty colors: Yellow, Green, and Orange. The glasses are made of sturdy melamine -- a form of plastic that became popular from the 1940s to the 1960s. The white liner of each glass comes out for easy cleaning. The Gits Company was found in 1890 by the 4 Gits brothers: Joseph, Louis, Remi, and Jules Paul in Chicago, Illinois. The patent for these tumblers was applied for in 1959. The business is now the JC Gits Company and is being run by the FOURTH Gits generation. Excellent pre-owned condition.
