Description: This is a lot of 6 Vintage 60s Mid Century Modern / MCM Metallic Fire Engine Red Mercury Glass Christmas Tree BALLS Ornaments w its original box that were made by The George Franke Sons Company in Baltimore, Maryland. They are 2-7/8” in diameter with their original silver caps that say Made In USA. The box has the “Advertised in Life” on them - as in Life magazine. The plastic in the box is torn and taped on one spot. The red is such a gorgeous deep metallic red color and is very shiny. Very well-made. Some wear on the metallic red so silver is exposed - as is to be expected with vintage mercury glass ornaments like this. You may be able to touch it up if you are crafty and can match the red.
