Description: This is a 5HP Tecumseh horizontal shaft two stage snowblower engine. The label is Yard Machines by MTD which is the snowblower chassis it came off of. It has an electric start which is working BUT the pinion gear is not engaging the flywheel. Therefore, it may require a new starter pinion gear or spring. Otherwise, the engine starts and runs good with the pull start. The carburetor float bowl looks dirty in the pictures but it will be ultrasonically cleaned before shipping. As a result, the float bowl gasket may need to be replaced to prevent leaks but this is unlikely. The unit will ship with padding in a cardboard box without fuel and without oil. PLEASE ADD OIL BEFORE STARTING FOR THE FIRST TIME.
