Birthday, Wedding, for what ever reason, I can personalise it for you. This is a new 5ft Red Hide stock whip. Made from Australian Red Hide leather. Red Hide is the strongest leather to make whips from. Latigo leather is imported and lacks the strength and give of Red Hide. The whip is made to the highest standard, as the pictures clearly show. Have a look at all my whips and see the quality of the workmanship. The 5ft measurement is the length of the plaited part of the whip, called a thong. The handle is 19 inches in length and it also has a 2ft fall, ( the single strand of leather on the end). The handle is made of Australian hardwood with a 6 plait cow hide leather. The leather is softer on the hands than red hide but still wears extremely well. Please note that the hardwood may be darker or lighter than pictured, due to the beeswax I put on it. This whip is suited to an adult or some one with whip cracking experience. If this not you, have look at my shorter whips and I am sure you will find one to suit.Comes with cracker twine to make a 12 crackers. My other 5ft listing comes with 6 crackers, a fall andleather conditioner. Whips may vary in appearance due to all leathers not being exactly the same
