Plants at maturity will be about 3' - 4' tall, It is an easy plant to grow and very heavy producer, it is native to south America and Mexico . It is a wild pepper and it is said that many of the peppers are originated from it. In Phoenix area I am growing it as perennial . Pepper pods are hot and will turn dark red / orange at maturity. Plant is compact and easily can be grown in a container. Pods have a very nice smoky flavor , perfect choice for salsa , cooking and hot sauce. Mature Pods can be dried and powdered for use in many dishes.Plants were grown totally organic ,without the use of any chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
