No door is exactly that size. Please see "Dimensions" below. Elegant, antique interior doors salvaged from an old 1930's home in Wyoming, PA. The doors are made of solid Douglas fir or pine and have 5 raised panels on both sides. All of the doors are stained on both sides. Doors#3, & #9 are completely stained. Doors#2 & #6 are stained on one side and painted on the other side. Door#5 is completely painted. When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine. Hardware: No hardware included, however, we have a good selection of period hardware in our eBay store, and tons more in our physical store. * If you would like any of the hardware holes plugged with solid wood, please email us for a quote. Uneven Size: The height and/or width of most doors were unevenly cut (1/4" - 3/4") The cuts were most likely made to accommodate a warped floor or sagging foundation. We could cut any of the doors to an even height/width, or cut them narrower/shorter, or even build them up to be wider/taller--message us for a quote. Condition: The doors are strong, sturdy, and in great structural condition. They have nicks and scratches, but no broken or cracked joints, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that they have will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks". Modification: Do you want to make a pair using 2 of these doors? Do you want to replace the panels with glass, screen/mesh, or something else? We could modify the doors to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we'll give you a quote.
