How to keep weed barrier in place?Weed barrier fabric is kept in place using Landscape Staples. Landscape Staples are pushed through the fabric and into the soil to keep the fabric from shifting or moving. We sell landscape staples from 4 inches long to 18 inches long. Shorter staples are used for harder/rockier soil while longer staples are used for soft/loose soil. Our most popular landscape staple is our 6 inch 11 gauge staple. Best way to lay weed barrier fabric?When installing weed barrier fabric, first clear the area of trash/sticks/rocks and etc. Then rake the area so it is as flat as possible.
