Description: This is 4 very small split elk antler dog chews. These are thinner walled and are softer and easier to chew than base pieces and most deer antlers. If you are worried about a dog cracking a tooth these are a better choice although they are still hard. Dogs love the inner core that they can easily get to. They do not last nearly as long as lower pieces or a dense deer antler but they do still clean the teeth well. These are great for older dogs and puppies that won't have to work as hard to get to the core of the antler. These are the actual chews you will receive. These should be for small dogs.These provide great minerals for the dog and they are long lasting. Best of all most dogs love them. Also these do not splinter like some other bones. These are also great for any rodent that you may have including mice, hamsters, squirrels, etc.Please make sure you buy antlers that are on the big side and not on the small side. I usually take them away when they get to be of small size as they can be a choking hazard. Also be sure to supervise your pet and make sure they grind them down slowly and dont try to crack them with there teeth. Warning: Antlers can and do cause slab fractures on some dogs. Anything hard has the potential to do this so keep this in mind and supervise your dog when chewing these. Also it is best to use a large chew that they cannot clamp down on.
