Description: 4 Song Series De Witt Wheeler Postcards Courting Shy Ann Cheyenne On Broncho This is a group of 4 postcards that are part of a song series for the song Cheyenne (Shy Ann) by Harry Williams from 1907. The song depicts a man courting a woman named Ann. Note the text of the card refers to Sweet Ann (not Shy Ann). Also broncho is the old school spelling, not the modern "bronco." The cards measure 5 1/2" x 3 1/2" except for #4 in the series, which has been cut down.Three are in good condition with wear around the edges except as follows: #1 has a dog ear bend in the upper left corner. #3 has some markings in the corners where it looks like it was in a postcard book at one time. #4 has been cut down on one side.They are not posted or used, but someone has written the series number on the back in the bottom right corner.Front of the cards are marked Photo only Copyright 1907 De Witt C.
