Description: Bullock's Wilshire was a renown luxury department store in Los Angeles that spanned over half a century from the 1930s through 1990s. This antique toy carnival train set was most likely made circa the 1950s. It is hand made in Austria, and has the original Wilshire Bullock's sticker on the base of each car. The wagons are made of wood with metal bars and metal wheels. These cars have gotten dirty and stained over the course of their vintage lives. A couple of them have some slight warping. There are couple of small areas of minor water discoloration. One car is missing its door. Please see photos for details. This train set has wonderful antique character. It would look great on display with Elastolin / Lineol animals or perhaps with a large gauge model railroad train set. Each car measures approximately 8.5" length by 5.5" height by 3.5" depth.
