They are made from weather-resistant, exterior materials (signboard and pressure treated lumber) and have an electric rotating beacon light with grounded plug. The electric light uses a 120v, 4w bayonet light bulb and has a 3-sided plastic lense that rotates at 12 rpm giving you 36 "flashes" per minute. These lighthouse bases are hollow, so they are great for covering a well pump or other things in your yard. Outside base measurements are approximately 20-inches across with inside base opening being approximately 15-inches across and approximately 25-inches high. These lighthouses weigh approximately 30 pounds before packing for shipment. Lighthouses come with pre-drilled holes on two sides so you can use spikes to anchor them in place.
