Description: Set of 4 Antique Limoges Bullion Cup & Saucer R. Delinieres & Co L. Bernadaud & Co D&C. Total of 8 Pieces This set of four rare and beautiful antique Limoges porcelain double gold handled bullion soup cups and saucers was produced in the Limoges, France area between 1890 and 1910 by the shop of R. Delinieres & Co. It is marked on the back side in green D & C France. It is marked on the back side in red L. Bernardaud. This allows us to date the item and it also indicates that it was designated for export. The cups and saucers features a luminescent white Limoges porcelain background with gold filigree stylized flower pattern around the edges, gilded accents, scalloped, with gold trim and encrusted handles. Given the advanced age of this piece, it is in exceptional condition. All of the gold is bright and shiny. There is some expected wear to the gold circles on the saucers, and some gold worn from the rims edges. This wear is minor.Measures: Saucer 4 3/4", Cup 2 1/4" High Weight: All 8 pieces are a total of 1 pound.This particular pattern has no name or number designation as is typical of Limoges products.There are no chips, cracks, crazing.
