If you aren't sure how small the rocks are, or whether they are as colorful as in the photos, please message me with any questions. Look at the second photo to see what they look like DRY. What you see in the photos is EXACTLY what will come in the box. *** These small (approx. golf ball to tennis ball size, see the quarter) river rocks are from an area of metamorphic and igneous geology in central Idaho. Translation: they're very colorful! The photos are of the actual stones you will receive. In the first pic the rocks are wet; the way they would look in an aquarium or water feature. The 2nd shot is after they dried, as they would look in a dry arrangement or landscaping. Hand selected and hosed off - not treated in any way. And check out my store for the other river stone lots I have listed, including flat, smooth rocks for rock painting. By the way, the lot numbers (lot 1, 2, 3 etc.) do not indicate quality, just the order in which I gathered the rocks and a way to tell the boxes apart when filled. And approximately 30 pounds is the most small size rocks I can fit in a USPS medium flat rate box. Packed tightly with lots of reinforcing tape around the box. Free shipping ($15 value).
