Description: Set of 3 Vintage GDR Emil Helbig Erzgebirge Wood Shaved Trees, 2” to 4” Set of three collectable Erzgebirge folk art trees carved at the legendary Emil Helbig Workshop in the German Democratic Republic, many years before the reunification of Germany. The base on one tree in the set is stamped Made in Germany, yet the sticker is one that represents the GDR, and the trees were bought between the late ‘60s and ‘70s as we knew the original owner. The tallest tree measures 4” and the other two are each 2” high. The shaved branches remain in great condition, as detailed by the photos.
