Description: This is an ergonomic pressure application tool designed for the stamping hobby.Intended for use with the MISTI ("Most Incredible Stamp Tool Invented"), Bira, Tonic Tim Holtz, Stampendable, and Stampin Up Stamparatus platforms. My mother-in-law got into the stamping hobby some months back when she was given a MISTI Mini for her birthday. She later asked me if I could make her a tool to easily apply pressure to the stamps instead of tiring out her fingers (she also has mild arthritis). This tool's shape is inspired by the ergonomic wood carved volumes of old-timey engraving and rubber stamps. There are many ways to hold it comfortably and press downwards: hold it from above by the ball, all around it, or by sliding fingers around the neck. Features:3'' diameter thick felt pad inset into and super-glued to the bottom of the tool. It will not lift, move, or come loose at all.Other tools just put the felt on with the adhesive it came with and no inset and it will likely fail soon and lift. Included dust cover so the felt stays clean and doesn't collect cat hair, dust,etc. messing up your stamps later on when you use it again.The dust cover screws on! The cover and tool stay together - no coming off while jumbling inside a desk or falling off a table.Lots of colors to choose! Designed and made in CT, USA.
