Description: 2.5yd Union Jack Flag. Large Vintage hand made. Originally flown above a London Hotel 230x 115cms, (2.5yd x 1.25yd) . Look for the Coke Can in the pictures to help appreciate the scale A lovely example of a hand sewn union flag. Made from woven fabric with individually stitched panels of red white and blue. Not printed Finished with the traditional headband rope and toggle to attach to a flagpole. Could still be flown or used as decoration, lots of potential uses for interiors or theming, lovely aged look to the fabric, This Flag has a batten pocket and two eyelets on the bottom edge which would originally have been used to insert a bar to prevent furling. There is Antifrey netting on the fly edge which has prevented any wear to the main body of the flag Dispatched by Royal Mail 2nd class tracked.
