21" IDEAL Real Live Lucy Doll Gorgeous Outfit Genuine Leather Shoes BEAUTIFUL!

Description: DESCRIPTION: I SELL ONLY WITHIN THE U.S. NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING OFFERED. I’m offering today an adorable and large size "Ideal" baby doll from the year 1965. She is a large size doll standing approximately 21" tall. She has a heavy vinyl body, which is jointed at the neck, arms and legs. Ideal made this doll for a short amount of time and she is known as Real Live Lucy. If you move her, her head will bobble and sometimes it's very difficult to get a photo of her. This is another one of my favorite dolls, because of her adorable face and that beautiful platinum blonde hair. I will start at the top of her head and work my way down so as not to omit anything in my description. Starting at the top of her head, she has platinum blonde hair, which is cut into a short baby bob with bangs. I made her a custom made hair band to match her adorable black and white check dress. I took pink with black polka dotted grosgrain ribbon and made a large bow. I then cut pink elastic ribbon to fit the dolls head perfectly and then hand sewed the large bow to the top of the elastic. By doing this, it allows the bow to stand nice and upright on the dolls head. By hand making these doll hair bands, you don't have to worry about them falling off and getting lost. It takes lots of time to create these hair bows for each doll, but I really want their new mommy's to be proud of their new dolly. As you go down to her face, she has single brown line for eyebrows. She has lovely hazel eyes, which open and close nicely. She has her original eyelashes which have been spared the wrath of her previous little mommies. Her eyes are quite large and look straight at you with such a sweet stare. She has a dainty petite nose with open nostrils for realism which flows down to her precious open mouth. She has two pearly white teeth peeking out of those pale pink lips. Her chubby baby cheeks have beautiful coloring, which really enhances those big hazel eyes she has. The back of her neck is hallmarked: "1965, Ideal Toy Corp., FL20-E-H33". As I mentioned above, her name is "Lucy" and was produced in 1965. As most of you who follow me know, I pick their outfits based upon the way their faces look and what they speak to my heart. With this precious face and large hazel eyes, she truly needed to be in something special. This precious dress is made of a cotton check print with large black and white check pattern. The bodice is high, which comes down a bit lower on her neckline. The sleeves are short with a bit of gathering at the top of each arm, which allows them to stand out and just look simply adorable. I added a pink with black polka dotted grosgrain bow to the top center of the bodice. Below the bodice are three gorgeous pink rosettes out of satin with green satin for the leaves. The skirt on the dress is quite full and has a slightly ruffled bottom edge which goes all the way around the dress. I added a very full pink tulle tutu for added fullness. Under her tutu, she is wearing black and white striped cotton leggings, which come down to about 3/4 of the leg. She is wearing white socks with genuine black leather slip-on shoes with the same pink satin rosette on each foot. She is so darn cute! After I finished with her, she literally took my breath away. She is one of the prettiest dolls I've designed in a long time. It was so much fun bringing a doll this age back to new once again. I know someone will love and cherish her for many more years. My dolls are not played with by children who come and visit; I know that sounds mean, but sometimes they play too rough. My dolls are kept in a doll room specifically for them and are displayed for everyone to enjoy. All my dolls are truly loved and cared for as though they were my children. Their clothes are either original to the doll, made by me, or I've tried finding doll clothing from the same era as the doll or find clothing which match the personality of the doll. We do not smoke and I try very hard to keep a tidy clean home free of dust and odor. My dolls are clean and most of the time look as though they did when they were sold new. Depending on how old they are, I do try to be honest in detailing if some of the dolls have bruises, missing toes or fingers or other issues, but that doesn't mean they aren't worth having; for each one is like children.....they are all beautiful in their mothers eyes. If I've missed something it would never be intentional. SIZE: This vintage Ideal Real Live Lucy doll is a larger doll measuring approximately 21" tall. CONDITION: This doll is Vintage, but in what I would consider good condition. Her body has been cleaned and sanitized. Her beautiful platinum blonde hair has been washed and conditioned and styled for her new mommy. Her eyes open/close freely with her original eyelashes. She is jointed and poses quite nicely. She has all her fingers and toes. Her dress is absolutely adorable and was designed for this doll. Her leather doll shoes are vintage, but have never been worn by another doll.
