Description: You see a lot of struck through grease errors, but you don't often find residual grease from the dies on coins by the time they make it into rolls. I believe this is exactly what you see on this coin. Grease that didn't get cleaned off in the rinsing process. I pulled this coin from a previously unopened box of Loomis wrapped rolls of uncirculated coins. It was the only coin in the box with any kind of substance on it. This dime is otherwise BU and very clean. (I didn't get photos before I flipped it up. So the photos aren't ideal, but the coin is a nice BU example.) This would be a neat addition to any mint error collection.
