2018 Tesla Model 3

Description: For sale is my 2018 Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD with Enhanced Autopilot (EAP). The car has just over 42,000 miles and a brand new 12V battery, which was just changed preemptively before listing for sale. You might be wondering, what's EAP, and why is this car priced above some other 2018 Model 3's ? Well, as you can see in the photos, you can add Full Self Driving (FSD) to this car for $2k since it has EAP, which was a $6k feature when I purchased the car. If you aren't interested in EAP/FSD, and just want Basic Autopilot, then this car might not be for you. Also, this car is the LR AWD model, and still gets 282 miles on a full charge (screenshot from the Tessie app available above). If you are fine with ~210-230 miles on a full charge (trust me, those extra 50-70 miles are pretty important if this is your primary car), then this car also might not be for you, as you can get a Standard Range Plus (SR+) for cheaper, though many of them have upwards of 100,000 miles and accident histories. This car has never been in an accident. It has been street parked in NYC, so there are some general dings and dents on the car. One night, while the car was parked, someone gently hit the rear bumper while getting in/out of the spot behind me (and of course didn't leave a note), and this jostled one of the parking sensors, which was fixed at Tesla. As mentioned earlier, the car also has a brand new 12V battery - as it was still running on its original 12V, shockingly, though they tend to last 3-4 years - also supplied and fitted by Tesla. Why am I selling ? I have a 2022 Model X Plaid, and also don't live in the US anymore. So I have two cars sitting in a garage, collecting dust, for when I visit the US every month or so, during which I drive my Model X. This Model 3 did ~25k miles in its first year (commuting NY to Boston weekly for work), ~10k in the second year, and a combined ~7k in the subsequent four years. Besides the aforementioned parking sensor repair, the car hasn't moved from its climate controlled garage since late 2023. This is a single owner vehicle, with no accidents. Tesla offers an 8 year, 120,000 mile warranty on the battery and drive unit, which means you can cover ~75k miles over the next two years, and still be covered ! The car is available for viewing in Bay Ridge (Brooklyn), NY, and can be shipped anywhere in the US. For the right buyer (meaning, reasonable sale price), I will cover the shipping cost, as I don't want you to pass on this car - if you really want it and are willing to pay market value - just because it's 1000 or even 3000 miles away. I welcome any and all questions, and welcome viewings, but I do not take kindly to time wasters. If you are unsure about the car, please come and see it before committing to buy it. I don't mind at all (like I said, I am not often in the US, but the car is at my parents' house and my newly-retired and very bored father will show you around). It's possible this car is eligible for any number of federal or state incentives for used EVs, but I don't know anything about those (they keep changing) so please do your own research. I have noticed many Teslas for sale on eBay that advertise the "price after tax credit," but I find that disingenuous. The price here is the amount of money I expect to receive for the car. If you get a $3-4k tax credit, that's fantastic (and I would be happy for you), but I don't bake that into the price as that's not fair. Another thing I've noticed is lots of Teslas advertise FSD if the car has FSD "capability." That means you need to still pay for it, just that the car is capable of supporting it (like all Teslas besides the original Model S/X, as they are too old). This car has EAP installed and fully paid for. You can choose to upgrade to FSD for $2k (and I suspect anyone buying this car plans on doing that), but I am not advertising this car as having FSD, since that's also disingenuous.
