This is a Fox Model 400 all-wood, full conservatory oboe. S/n 31XXX makes this a relatively new 2014 model. It is in exceptional condition: wood has no chips, cracks, repairs or bore damage. Silver plate about 99.9% with little if any wear at all. Includes a bunch of keys not found on lesser or earlier oboes, including the F-resonance key, left F key, split D/D#, banana key, extra trills, articulated C, low Bb and Bb vent, and even the third octave key!Has obviously had a recent overhaul; pads are in excellent condition with little wear at all. Just through our shop wear it needed very little other than bore oiling, very minor regulation, and two new tenon corks. Comes in a slim pochette case with faded lettering of the prior owner if you look closely. Cork grease is for local pickup only, but it does include a new Jewel silk swab and a brand-new Kaces LUXE Series case cover giving you weather resistance, padding, lots of external zippered storage, a strap, and a ton of swag!
