The mintage on these satin strike coins, having come exclusively from US Mint sets, was relatively small at 583,897 and the satin coins from the mint sets are of generally higher quality than regular rolled business strike coins from the US Mint due to more careful handling of mint set coins at the Philadelphia and Denver mints.
