These coins feature the same finish as their bullion counterparts, but unlike the American Eagle Bullion Coins, the American Eagle Uncirculated Coins bear the mint mark of the facility that produces them and follow a different path through the manufacturing process. Specifically, the planchets used for American Eagle Uncirculated Coins are burnished, while those used for American Eagle Bullion Coins are not. Mintages of the 2006 W American Eagle 20th Anniversary Sets were limited to 20,000. The set contains one uncirculated silver eagle and one uncirculated one–ounce gold eagle, both bearing the “W” mint mark. The gold and silver set also includess an informative booklet outlining the history of gold and silver in coins throughout history. Both coins are encapsulated and in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and include the Certificate of Authenticity from the U.S. Mint. Although these coins contain the original packaging, parts of the packaging are missing or damaged. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS. The outer box and box cover are missing and lower part of box is damaged. The top of the display box has also come loose due to the adhesive glue drying. This can be fixed by reapplying some glue and the display box would look new again.
