Description: 2 Vintage St Patricks Day Postcards Girls in green, Ellen Clapsaddle Here are 2 early 1900s St. Patrick's Day holiday postcards. Both feature lovely girls wearing green outfits and have a poem.I have placed a ruler in some pictures for size reference. Standard size, approx. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2". Used condition.- "The Top of the Mornin' To You..." embossed card: Girl with her hands in her skirt pockets. Artist signed "Ellen H. Clapsaddle" at a lower corner. This is an "International Art Publ. Co." card. Posted card dated Mar 15, 1919 with a $.02 stamp. Writing is in pencil.- "St. Patrick's Day Souvenir..." card: Girl holding a cup of tea. No artist name. This is a "Wolf & Co." card. Unposted, has writing on the back in pencil.Light wear and aging overall. No creases except for some rubs at the tips. Minor light smudges and age spots. The Clapsaddle card has a small dried tape or glue mark on the center back. No musty or smoke odor.Please note: items will not be split for individual sale.Store inventory number 11201.
