They are 2 inches wide by 1.125 inches tall. Our tags come with real US military chains. The chain is a US made T304 Stainless Steel chain and is made with stainless steel made in the USA. Our chains are the same chains used by the US Military for our soldiers. Tag-Z Military ID tags also come with black military dog tag silencers to protect the tag and keep it from jingling. To close the chain - Put the ball into the connector and pull both sides of the chain away from the connector until the ball ‘snaps’ into place. These are really tough stainless-steel ball chains so sometimes it takes a good tug.
