Description: This auction is for 3 antique early 19th century original English gun barrels. The 1 st gun barrel is an early Enfield smooth bore rife barrel that was cut down to 10” with a total of 12” with the tang. The bore is a large 3/4” I.D. There are many markings on this barrel. See photo’s. The second barrel is a smooth bore flintlock pistol barrel that is 6” long with a 5/8” bore. I do not see any markings on this barrel. Barrel number 3 is also a smooth bore flintlock pistol with a barrel that is 4 - 5/16”. The bore is 5/16” The markings on this barrel is an inverted “V” with an “S” below. The front of the barrel still retains the fittings to attach the swivel and ramrod to it. These barrels are great items for people who restore old guns. In the next few months I will be selling a collection of military items from the Bannerman’s store and museum. They have been stored in a barn since the 1970’s. This is a collection of assorted military items from the 18th thru the 20th century. The collection includes the original printing plates used to create the Bannerman's catalog.
