Description: Welcome to The Textile Trunk ~ please follow us on Instagram, we are @textiletrunk These lovely textile is a fragments are of a large runner ( I have many of the other pieces in my store also, for more matching pieces, just search my store for the word " superb " and the other pieces will appear!~ This fabric is French and was hand woven at some point in the 1800's ~ ~ the fabric is woven using both cotton and wool ~ It's trimmed with a Turkey red cotton, hand stitched on to the runner fabric. This fabric was used in homes as rugs and runners! It's a lighter weight and it's not backed, so if backed it would be lovely as a small area rug but also this fabric would make stunning pillows, upholstery etc! MEASUREMENTS : ~ These pieces measure approximately : 21 inches by 27 and 28 inches by 18 inches CONDITION : This fabric is in as found, not freshly laundered condition ~This textile can be dry cleaned ( uncleaned condition reflected in the price) You can test a bit if you prefer to hand wash ~*~ These pieces are damaged with some holes, marks etc ( reflected in the price) Please use the zoom feature on the photographs to see closely ~*~ ~ signs of time and use are often inherent in these wonderful antique textiles ~*~ European history and beauty ~ Inventory H 401
