Description: This lot includes two antique Victorian photo albums featuring children's and infant photos. The albums are made of metal and fabric, with a beautiful floral theme and portrait style. The photographs are in CDV cabinet card format, produced using a vintage technique from the 1800s. The albums are one-of-a-kind and limited edition, making them a valuable addition to any collection. This lot consists of two 1800’s photograph albums with great appearance and some neat images. There are adorable images of children & infants. The first album is a red/purplish velvet cover. It contains 22 CABINET CARDS & 6 smaller cards. The second album features a celluloid (enamel looking) off white cover with raised silver birds & flowers. It contains 36 CABINET CARDS & 5 smaller assorted tintypes or photos. The most charming are the children & infants especially one where the little girl has a big bow on the top of her head almost bigger than her head & looking so proud. We found these when we inherited the old family farmhouse. We are the 4th & final generation who has farmed the same ground since 1830. The majority were taken in Winchester & Farmland Indiana as well as WI MN and possibly other states. We are struggling like a lot of us are in this economy as the last generation we are hoping to keep the farm going until 2030 it’s 200th anniversary.
