Description: A 2 card lot of an Alberto VARGAS 1992 PIN-UP GIRLS PROTOTYPE Card. This one of the many paintings he did while under contract to ESQUIRE MAGAZINE. It was used on the December, 1945 Esquire Calendar. The prototype was produced in this trading card format in 1993 by 21ST Archives and the Hearst Corporation. His contract with Esquire did not allow him to use his full name, but only VARGA. Hearst Corporation still retains ownership rights today. The cards are standard size: 2 1/2 " by 3 1/2", and all in mint condition. USPS Trading Card Envelope to the US: $88.
