Description: Featured is a pair of vintage 1949 Postcard Bird's-Eye Views of Baton Rouge, Louisiana with the focus being on Our Lady of the Lake Sanitarium & General Hospital w/ the State Capital across the Lake in the distance. * These unused PCs from the Curt Teich Archives are essentially "new", in Near Mint condition (slightest age toning); deckled edges intact and clean. The postcards come from the Curt Teich Archives. The cards have been in our possession for approximately 15+ years ... long before the Curteich digitally archived images found their permanent home with The Newberry Institute. At the time of our acquisition, the Lake County Discovery Museum in IL was the custodian of the company's records, having served in that capacity since 1982. We ship weekdays with the exception of US federal holidays. We will ship with either free shipping or calculated shipping ... it depends on the given scenario. Often, calculated shipping will include insurance - again, depending on the item. Payment is expected at time of purchase or close of auction, whichever is applicable. This also applies to "best offer accepted" transactions. Non-paying purchasers or bidders will be blocked from future transactions. The same goes for winning bidders seeking to have sales cancelled.
