Description: So... moving on from Airborne and Inf Div Patches, we did these 1st Army early branch of service type patches. They first appeared on wool backing around 1940 - 41, these fully embroidered versions appeared around 1941 onwards, but production stopped due to the unnessasary costs involved and the patches were all amalgamated into the standard version. However, these were still permitted to be worn should they already have been issued. There are a few photos which show these being worn. The photos show all the varieties of this division patch, the photo of the single patch is the type you will recieve. YOU GET 1 PATCH!!! As the biggest win for us all are the prices we'll be setting. These will be kept to a minimum, sure, ebay fees and postage will need to be covered, as well as packing etc let us help keep this hobby at a sensible price for high quality items, there is no more cost in making excellent reproductions over total crap, so why should the price be any higher? I don't know why anyone would, but I've also added a listing for all of the patches together.
