Description: This is a 1998 Lincoln Memorial cent minted in Philadelphia. It has the variety commonly referred to as the "wide AM." The variety stems from the mint using the proof reverse on some business strike coins. A true "wide AM" will, of course, have the space between the A and M in AMERICA, but will also have the designer's initials "FG" closer to the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Another diagnostic is there should be equal distance between the "T A T" in STATES. Please reference the photos to see all the markers that verify this as a 1998 P, wide AM.
