Description: READ FULL ITEM DESCRIPTION BEFORE YOU BUY. 98 to 16. 2006 Yamaha Xvs 650 Vstar OEM Gloss White Gas Fuel Petrol Tank . First off the inside of the tank will need a good flush a little bit of water got mixed in with the gas the motorcycle that this gas tank came from sat outside for about 6 months we drain the tank there was no visible rust inside but until you start to work on the tank there is a possibility it may need to be lined until you start to work on something you just don't know but for the most part I think the inside of the tank is pretty clean I put a few tablespoons of two-stroke oil inside the tank to coat the inside. As far as the cosmetic and the outside the paint is decent for one thing it's very dirty it just needs a good cleaning it has one little very small dimple size ding at the very front upper left side other than that the tank is pretty dense free as I stated the paint is decent but the factory pinstriping is starting to peel off somebody did a little bit of airbrush work to it with a little bit of buffing maybe some new pinstriping this tank could easily be made to look pretty good again gloss white matches with a lot of different colors overall with a little bit of work this could be a very nice gas tank but it isn't plugged and play but use at your discretion. This is a used part it's almost 20 years old it's in less than perfect condition it needs work it shows typical wear and tear it has cosmetic and flaws and imperfections. Look closely at all pics ask questions if necessary do not buy on an impulse or from your cell phone something gets missed then when the customer receives the tank people get upset of course they blame it on the seller also don't have me ship this tank and start asking me questions all sales are FINAL. NO returns NO warranties NO cancellations NO exceptions. I am a one-man owner operator operation shipping is very expensive I cannot afford to pay for people's remorse mistakes or change of mind. I don't do returns I do stand behind my parts but I will also not honor complaints because someone did not look at read or ask questions about this part do your homework. Before you leave negative feedback or open a dispute with eBay also remember that you purchased this tank from my store not eBay not the shipper you got a problem take it up with me first send me a polite detailed message with pics please be polite I will not respond or tolerate rude or disrespectful messages hey this part is no good give me my money back is not going to work I need to know exactly what the problem is in detail with pics unfortunately there are dishonest people that lie exaggerate will say anything to get a refund or get something cheaper take advantage of eBay buyer protection and return policies I do not want to be taken advantage of any more than you do. At the same time I'm not trying to get over on anyone or take advantage of anyone either if I find that you have a valid complaint and or problem I will address it promptly fairly and within reason I also do everything I can to give a long lengthy item description and take as many pictures as possible. So with all that being said this is a good quality used OEM gas tank it would make with some work a good replacement for the right v Star 650 thank you for taking the time to read my item description.
