1994 Harris Comics unread mint VENGEANCE OF VAMPIRELLA #9

I am not sure when I will be getting stuff back out of storage and listing again, but it will be months, at least. If there's something listed that you think you want, THIS is the time for that. Comic book dealers often view comics of the 90s with disdain, frequently citing how over-printed they were. Some of them were certainly printed beyond collector demand, but they certainly weren't over-printed beyond comic shop demand. That so many comic shops went out of business during the 90s due to over ordering was not because of buyers but completely because of shop owners speculating with their stock. It's like drug dealers using their own supply. But I was thinking about these comics the other day after talking to a comic shop owner who was dismissing 90s comics as worthless because I said, "Do you have any comics from the 90s in stock?" And they were, like, "No, why would I bother? They're everywhere." And I said, "But you don't have any." And he said, "Well, no..." Evidently they aren't everywhere. Which is when I realized that these comics are 30 years old, now, and, actually, a lot of those comics were simply tossed in the trash as being worthless. Also, the print runs on 90s comics was still much smaller overall than print runs on comics in the 40s and 50s. All of that to say that I am reminded of when I first started collecting comics in the 80s and, then, people started realizing that comics from the 70s were really cheap and started buying them all up and comic book prices went up because of it. Maybe it's time to start re-visiting some of those cheap 90s comics that are "everywhere." Just in time for Halloween!
