Description: We're selling a small collection of high-end pens for a client who is downsizing and cleaning house. This is for a YAFA Red Star Collection brushed steel roller ball pen from the Russian Federation (CCCP) in 1990. Here's some additional information that we have been able to find about this pen: USSR Soviet CCCP Red Star Pen made by Yafa in 1990 with a roller ball pen in a wooden box with Russian writing and a red star and CCCP stamped on the box. The pen was apparently made in Taiwan.The pen is heavy and made of brushed stainless steel and has an inlaid red star on the cap end and says 'CCCP' on the side of the cap. The pen is approximately 5" long and about 1/2" thick and weighs approximately 2 ounces. Note: the pen takes a standard cartridge. The pen does have an original cartridge but the ink has nearly dried out (it's 34 years old) so you'll need to get new cartridge refills if you want to write with the pen. In addition to the pen and box, there is an order form and information on the pen and collection. Apparently, they also made shaving kits and other items back in 1990.
