Description: 1990 Topps John Kruk Bizarre INK STREAK ERROR....From The NNOF No Name Frank Thomas Sheet.This came from the orange-border "F" Sheet that produced the NNOF Frank Thomas error card and the other partially blackless errors. It’s a significant part of the history of the Thomas error, as it supports the theory that there was a liquid present which prevented the black ink from adhering to the cards. It appears that liquid also caused this bizarre ink streak. In fact, it is my theory that whoever was running the presses tried to clean off whatever was causing the diagonal blue lines that I found on several of the orange-bordered cards in the error packs I opened. This could certainly explain why the location and direction of this diagonal ink streak is similar to the slanted blue line errors. Additionally, if you look at an uncut sheet, Kruk and Larry Walker (who I have similar ink steak errors of) are directly next to Kenny Rogers and Todd Ziele...both of whose cards I found with the diagonal blue line in the error packs.Again, I personally pulled this from error packs that I also pulled the NNOF Thomas and other error cards from.
