Description: The most unique planchet lamination-occluded gas bubbles error cent. This circulated 1985-P Lincoln memorial cent has what is known as occluded gas bubbles ( strongest I have seen yet!) this lamination error occurs when the metalergy of this coins planchet when being made ( zinc core and copper outer layer) doesn’t mix properly. Because of the improper mix causes coin to form gas bubbles under the copper layer. Most coins have some bubbles but this is the most unique one yet! This coin was found penny roll hunting through bank rolls. This coin has been in circulation but is in near mint condition minus the coins error. These errors have only recently been listed for certication at companies like pcgs, ngc, etc. since then these types of errors have been more highly collectible. Coin pictured is coin you will receive.
