Description: This listing is for a 1984 Vintage Gibson Les Paul Standard Wine Red Guitar W/Chainsaw Case. This is one of the nicest 80's LP Standards that I have had in stock. Completely original and excellent vintage condition. There are some small wear marks here and there, but take a look at the pics, they don't lie. This guitar presents beautifully and is about a nice an example of a mid-80's Standard as you will find. The Tim Shaw's still even have the little stickers intact on the pickup rings; how rare is that? Its a bit weighty, as Les Pauls from this era tended to be at 10.3lbs, but its got tone for days to match. Plays great and the frets are in excellent condition as you can see by the pictures. Even the chainsaw case is in great condition. Very clean with all latches working, logo intact, etc. Overall this is a great example of a vintage, mid 1980's LP that is only appreciating in value.
