1984 HONDA ATC70 Complete OEM Fuel Tank / Original Paint and Decals / ATC 70

Description: *** PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ***Today we have a complete 100% authentic OEM fuel tank for the now legendary ATC70 in "Ridden Survivor" condition**. Tank has full original decals and paint, and does not have the famous "Fork Dents" that many of these now 40 year old units are known for. Overall this tank shows very very well, but has obvious signs of use - scratches, small dings, light scuffing, rubbing, chips, slight dent RH side behind fuel neck, subtle surface rust where paint has chipped but over all solid and sound. Tank comes with it's original fuel cap and seal - showing the same type of patina, age and ware as the tank it came with. ** Please note that this unit is best served for a factory purist that is trying to complete an OEM "Survivor Condition" display bike. The issue with this tank is that it was being prepped by the previous owner who had the tank sealed ( tank holds fuel fine and does not leak ) But inserted pipe cleaners into the fuel outlets to keep the sealer from entering them - unfortunately the sealer set up before the individual tried to extract them, and they are now stuck in the fuel outlets. ** It's possible that someone with the right tools or skills / solvent can get the pipe cleaners out, or figure out some other means of making the tank functional again for general use, as it does hold fuel and does not leak. Due to the circumstances of this unit being sold as a display piece for possible rehab - Item is being sold as is with no returns.
