Thank you and happy shopping!! Lisa Anri "Talking To Animals" 6" Figurine By Ferrandiz This is a vintage Anri "Talking To Animals" figurine. This figurine is 6" tall. This Anri was hand carved and painted by Ferrandiz. Designed by the artist Juan Ferrandiz, a painter who wrote poetry and a poet who painted pictures. He received his artistic education at the Reial Acadmia Catalana de Belles Arts de Sant Jordi in Barcelona, later became himself an art professor and devoted himself to the design of figures based on his particular predilection for childish themes. His collaboration with ANRI allowed the ANRI Master carvers to bring many of his designs to life. Juan Ferrndiz passed away in August 1997, at the age of 79. This lovely sculpture was carved from a single block of wood. Every single cut was worked by hand and every detail carefully hand brushed with special transparent oil based colors so that the beauty of the wood grain remains visible. Approx Measures 6" tall x about 3 1/8" wide x 2 3/4" deep. "Ferrandiz" facsimile signature (his personal stamp of approval) is incised on the back of the base. ANRI sticker on the underside.
