Description: I am clearing out my childhood baseball card collection. This lot is 1980 Topps, the last year they had a monopoly on MLB cards. Let's use 500 as the card count. There are approximately 10% more cards, but a very small number of them are duplicates and a few of the checklists are marked (I believe). This leaves about 500 cards that appear to me (a novice collector) to be in very good condition. This was the last year I really collected cards and, by this time, we were older and tended not to handle to cards much (since there were so many good ways to get into trouble at this point). This would be a great way to get a child into collecting. I think these years have a classic look and I prefer them way more than the modern cards.
