Description: This is a 1979-S Type 2 or Clear S Proof Washington Quarter. This is a gorgeous, deep cameo coin with no visible flaws. Please refer to the photos and note that any coloration you see is the reflection of my hand, camera and light in photographing the coin. The coin itself is fully white and reflective, with frosty deep cameo contrast. The 1979-S Type 2 coins resulted from a change in mint mark style at the San Francisco Mint towards the end of the year in 1979, resulting in these coins having lower mintages than their Type 1 Counterparts. I have tried my best to capture the mint mark in the photos but my camera can be troublesome with small mint marks sometimes. Buy with confidence though!!
