This is an original press photo. Nosey, the Roeding Park Zoo's popular pachyderm, was the center of attention Saturday as money was raised to provide the elephant with some new living quarters. Activities included a puppet show and a special program. The fund raising activities were coordinated by Zoolynx, a support group tot he Fresno Zoological Society. Zoo officials would like to enlarge Nosey's quarters with hopes of one day securing a mate for her. The project will require about $1 million.
