Description: 1978 Honda CX 500. Low miles 8961 original survivor. Has been sitting for many years since passing of owner. It’s in very good original condition with no glaring imperfections. Paint,chrome,fittings etc all seem very good It will need re commissioning for road use. As you well know This might entail just cleaning out the fluids and it runs well or full service including carb. It’s always a gamble.It rolls freely.The motor turns over well with good compression and it shifts through gears when bumping it.It hasn’t been cleaned or polished but it surely will look completely different once that’s done.
