Description: 1974 McDonald's San Diego Padres Discs -WILLIE McCOVEY (Unpunched Sheet of 6), for whatever reason the McCovey sheets seem to be the toughest of the 6 card sheets to find. This series of discs was produced by Photo Sports Inc of Los Angeles. Originally 60,000 starter sets were distributed at the home game in San Diego on July 30, 1974 and then 8 more discs were distributed at San Diego area McDonald's restaurants. The 8 additional cards were sent to the restaurants in the form you see here, sheets of 6 of the same player. 2 new cards/discs were distributed every week. Rare to find them still in this form, the tiny little punched holes are very easy to dislodge and even those are mostly all there. Please see scans for condition.
